America's Birthday Week

Last week we had the opportunity to head up north to visit family. As usual, it was fabulous! We bounced around from house to house and each place was full of adventure. With my dad and stepmom we went fishing, swimming, and barbecued. With my MIL and SFIL we went to City Creek Center in downtown SLC and we went to the zoo. With my mom we played with my 6 cousins, went to the Great Salt Lake, and visited my grandparents. We also played Smart Ass and made German chocolate cake (GCC), which we ate with roasted almond fudge ice cream from the BYU Creamery. I know you're jealous. Expect for Lish, because he doesn't like GCC. I know. There must be something wrong with him.

Anyway, enjoy the visuals!

Girls Camp

Last week was our YW girls camp. Although I didn't go up for the whole duration of camp, I got to go up for a day and a night and it was lovely. The girls are so wonderful and crazy and amazing! The short time I was there was such a great experience for me. It was so fun to get to know them better and see everyone interact with each other.

Also because I was there for such a short time, I didn't get many pictures. But I did get to snap this one right before they performed their skit:
I know. You're pretty jealous that I get to work with these girls. I'd be jealous if I were you too.
